We’re continually extending the Nium network and expanding what clients can do through it. This month brings a major launch in the United States, alongside new markets and payout methods, higher-value payments on faster rails, and a new way to fund your wallet.
Physical, virtual, and stablecoin-backed cards
Issue cards in the United States
Serve your clients in the United States with your global card program. Enjoy all the same Nium benefits: just-in-time funding, a payment network spanning 190+ countries, and built-in controls. Visa and Mastercard are supported, with USD available at launch and more currencies planned. The initial focus is travel, alongside use cases such as supplier payments, expense management, loyalty, and employee incentives. Learn more here.
Fund your payouts with USDC
Turn idle stablecoin into working capital by using it to fund your Nium account. No new integration required and nothing changes in how your payouts work; simply use USDC to fund your Nium account and pay out in fiat anywhere in the world. We convert your USDC and credit it to the Nium wallet as USD. Learn more here, or get started by speaking to your Account Manager. Alternatively, reach out to the Nium team.
The Nium network
Send local ILS payouts, around the clock
Send ISL payouts 24/7 through Masav, Israel’s national clearing system, in real-time with no cut-off times and full bank coverage. This update means faster delivery and improved straight-through processing for existing clients and for the first time, financial institution clients. Swift remains a fallback and remitter names appear on beneficiary statements to support easier reconciliation. To turn this on, speak to your Account Manager.

Pay out to all four major e-wallets in Malaysia
MYR payouts now reach Touch 'n Go, ShopeePay, Boost, and GrabPay through DuitNow, with real-time settlement around the clock. The expansion makes it easier for platforms paying recipients without a Malaysian bank account, or those who prefer wallets to bank transfers, such as gig workers and creators. Consumer-facing institutions can also use this capability to issue refunds, cashback and incentives. Check out the details here.
Canada: Interac payouts that no longer stop overnight
Send Interact payouts through Nium 24/7, even to recipients without Auto-Deposit. Payments are processed immediately, with security questions supported and account number, email, and phone routing available. Transactions are limited to CAD 25,000, making the update particularly useful if your business pays Canadian beneficiaries across time zones or over weekends. Ask your Account Manager to get started.

Europe: High-value EUR stays on SEPA Instant
The limit for SEPA Instant payments has increased to EUR 999,999,999.99, allowing virtually all high-value EUR payments to stay on the real-time rail rather than moving to slower SEPA Credit Transfer. That opens up instant settlement for use cases including corporate treasury, large B2B payments and high-value cross-border transfers.
What’s next?
These updates are designed to give you more reach, flexibility, and speed across your payment flows. If you’d like to explore any of the new capabilities in more detail, your Nium Account Manager can help.
